How we started?
Gigabass Audio began as a passion project in 2010, sparked by the vision of our founder, Rifat Hussain, an electronics enthusiast with a deep love for sound. What started as a humble DIY audio experiment quickly grew into something far bigger. With each custom speaker he crafted, the response was overwhelmingly positive, and word spread fast. Encouraged by the support and feedback from early adopters, Rifat continued honing his skills, turning a hobby into an evolving craft. Over time, Gigabass became the go-to name for audiophiles in Bangladesh, and we’ve been pushing the boundaries of sound ever since.
The Story Behind Gigabass Audio!
Why Gigabass? It all started with a love for deep, powerful sound. Our first offering was a custom-built subwoofer designed to deliver the kind of bass you could feel. The name Gigabass was born from this obsession with pushing the boundaries of low-end sound, inspired by the legendary “megabass” feature found on classic speaker systems and Walkmans. But we wanted to go bigger — way bigger. Hence, Gigabass, a nod to the extreme power of our subwoofers.
As we grew, so did our ambition. Today, Gigabass Audio is about more than just bass; we’re here to provide everything you need for an incredible listening experience, from HiFi stereo setups to home theaters. Even though our range has expanded, the name Gigabass stuck with us — because it’s not just about a product; it’s about delivering sound that makes an impact.
