The Design:

Engineered as a two-way system, the Aura V3 Pro achieves unparalleled clarity while handling substantial power to deliver an immersive experience. With a 4-ohm configuration, it features a 6.5” Aluminum Cone Mid-Bass Driver paired with a newly upgraded Silk + Aluminum Swivel Dome Tweeter, boasting a sensitivity of 89dB. Both drivers provide an outstanding linear response across their frequency range.

The New Tweeter:

The Aura V3 Pro just received a major upgrade with a new Silk & Aluminum hybrid swivel-dome tweeter.
This innovative dome structure combines the smoothness of silk with the rigidity of aluminum—bringing the best of both worlds:

• Silk surround delivers a soft, well-damped and natural high-frequency response, avoiding harshness often associated with harder materials.
• Aluminum center dome adds rigidity and lightness, enabling brighter, more detailed highs with higher SPL capabilities and faster transient response compared to a pure silk dome.
• The tweeter is built with an all-metal cast aluminum body, improving control over resonance and reducing mechanical coloration.

Overall, the new tweeter delivers a cleaner response, clearer vocals, brighter openness, and an even more refined high-frequency detail than the previous Transparent Soft Dome unit.

The Crossover:

We implemented a 3rd-order 18dB slope crossover for the woofer, ensuring precision at the cutoff point. Our custom-designed crossover flawlessly integrates the drivers, tailored specifically for this two-way setup. Unlike many competitors who rely on generic crossovers, we’ve designed ours to perfectly align with the drivers’ sensitivity, frequency response, and impedance—cutting off mids and highs at 2.2kHz for optimal performance and integration with the new tweeter.

The Cabinet:

The Aura V3 Pro features a cabinet designed for deep, powerful bass. Its resonant-free structure incorporates robust bracing and a thick body design. We utilize dual 18mm solid MDF for an exceptionally sturdy front baffle. The extended dual-flared bass reflex port at the rear ensures it can withstand high pressure without generating unwanted noise. A carefully selected amount of glass fiber dampens the interior, resulting in a softer and deeper bass response free from internal resonance.

Mids & Bass:

The 6.5″ Aluminum Cone driver is engineered for stiffness, rigidity, and high sensitivity, delivering high-fidelity sound. Its lightweight construction enhances responsiveness in the mid and high-mid ranges, providing a lively sound reminiscent of a live concert. The driver’s extreme rigidity allows it to handle both sustained and dynamic bass without distortion, ensuring consistent performance even under pressure. It can go as low as 38Hz at -6dB, while maintaining an almost flat curve from 40Hz at -3dB.

The Highs (Updated):

Thanks to the new hybrid Silk + Aluminum dome tweeter, the Aura V3 Pro now delivers even more refined high frequencies. Expect crystal-clear vocals, airy highs, and beautifully resonant cymbals, all presented within a wider, more open soundstage. The tweeter’s sensitive yet rigid design blends flawlessly with the mid-bass driver, offering an exceptionally clean and extended frequency response.
