Refund and Returns Policy – GigaBass Audio

Overview

At GigaBass Audio, we aim to ensure every customer receives products in perfect condition. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, our Return & Refund Policy outlines when returns, exchanges, and refunds may be accepted.

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

  • The product is damaged during delivery
  • The product is defective or not functioning properly
  • You received an incorrect item or the wrong model/color
  • The product differs significantly from its official description on our website

 

Conditions for Return

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition
  • All items must be returned with original packaging, manuals, accessories, and invoice
  • The product must not show signs of physical damage, scratches, burn marks, or water damage
  • Serial numbers must remain intact and must match our records

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

 

Non-Returnable Items

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Used products that show signs of wear or tampering
  • Products damaged by the customer (physical damage, burns, moisture, power surge, misuse)
  • Items returned without original packaging, box, or included accessories
  • Accessories, cables, batteries, ear tips, consumables
  • Items purchased under clearance, flash sales, or discounted stock
  • Products with removed or altered serial numbers or warranty stickers

 

2. Return Request & Timeline

  • All return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
  • After approval, the product must be shipped back within 3 days.
  • Failure to send the product within the timeframe may void your return request.

Inspection Process

Once returned, the product undergoes a quality inspection:

  • If the product meets all return conditions, a refund or exchange will be approved
  • If the product fails inspection (used, damaged, tampered), the item will be returned to the customer at their cost

 

3. Refund Policy

 

Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days after the product passes inspection

 

Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Cash-on-delivery (COD) orders may be refunded via bank transfer or mobile wallet, depending on availability

 

Non-Refundable Amounts

The following charges cannot be refunded:

a. Shipping Charges

  • Delivery fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable
  • Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer unless the mistake is from our side

b. Packaging, Handling & Service Charges

  • Any special handling or packaging costs, if applicable, are not refundable

c. Payment Gateway Fees

For online card/mobile payments, a payment gateway fee may be deducted depending on the gateway provider’s policy

(typically 1.5% – 3%).

d. Refund Deductions for Condition Issues

If the returned product includes:

  • Missing accessories
  • Damaged packaging
  • Minor scratches or handling marks

We may deduct a restocking fee (5%–15%) depending on the condition.

 

4. Exchange Policy

You may request an exchange if:

  • The received product is defective, damaged, or incorrect
  • The replacement item is available in stock

If the replacement item is not available, you may choose:

  • Another product of equal price
  • A refund (subject to policy terms)

Exchanges are offered one time per order.

 

5. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled only before shipment
  • If the product has already been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible
  • The customer must follow the return process after receiving the item

Refund for cancelled orders will follow the same refund rules as above.
